The SNDi of new construction in Ruichang peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Jiangxi which peaked in 1976-1990 and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Ruichang's incremental SNDi fell from 1.78 to 1.72 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Ruichang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Huangqiao built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Ji'an County built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Ruichang and Huangqiao both grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Ji'an County became progressively more disconnected. Ruichang and Huangqiao have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
