The SNDi of new construction in Anfu County rose steadily, compared to Jiangxi which peaked in 1976-1990 and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Anfu County's incremental SNDi rose from 2.47 to 2.56 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Anfu County and Tanout both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Mukanga fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Anfu County and Tanout both became progressively more disconnected, while Mukanga became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards.
