The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Jurong plotted against Jiangsu and China. While Jiangsu and China both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Jurong's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Jurong's incremental SNDi rose from 1.28 to 1.72 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Jurong ranked 4th out of 101 cities in Jiangsu and 49th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Jurong fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Waladgaon built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Udgir built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Jurong fluctuated in connectivity, while Waladgaon became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Udgir became progressively more disconnected.
