While Yuanyang and Zhangbei both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, Xinshao fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street additions. For the full network, Xinshao grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Yuanyang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Zhangbei became progressively more disconnected. Notably, Xinshao had a more sprawly network than Yuanyang in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
