The SNDi of new construction in Jingmen peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Hubei which peaked in 1976-1990 and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Jingmen's incremental SNDi fell from 5.94 to 3.9 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Jingmen ranked 60th out of 77 cities in Hubei and 1408th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

Jingmen, Al Zawiyah, and Dumka all built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved in new street construction. For the full network, Jingmen and Dumka both became progressively more disconnected, while Al Zawiyah grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved.
