In new street additions, Zhecheng built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Yueyang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Kangmei built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Zhecheng and Kangmei both became progressively more disconnected, while Yueyang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Notably, Zhecheng had a more sprawly network than Kangmei in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
