The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Yuzhou plotted against Henan and China. While Henan and China both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Yuzhou's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Yuzhou's incremental SNDi rose from 2.52 to 2.57 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Yuzhou ranked 67th out of 129 cities in Henan and 659th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Yuzhou and Dhamar both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Xinmi built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Yuzhou grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Dhamar fluctuated in connectivity and Xinmi grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Yuzhou and Dhamar have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
