The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Suifenhe plotted against Heilongjiang and China. While Heilongjiang and China both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Suifenhe's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Suifenhe's incremental SNDi rose from 2.09 to 2.59 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Suifenhe fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Gurue fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Tha Chang built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Suifenhe and Tha Chang both became progressively more disconnected, while Gurue became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Suifenhe and Gurue have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
