The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Hengshan plotted against Heilongjiang and China. The SNDi of new construction in Hengshan peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Heilongjiang which peaked in 1976-1990 and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Hengshan's incremental SNDi fell from 5.89 to 4.88 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Hengshan ranked 62nd out of 67 cities in Heilongjiang as of 2020.
