What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Dongjingcheng fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Mahgawan built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Bhongir built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Dongjingcheng became progressively more disconnected, while Mahgawan grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Bhongir became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Notably, Dongjingcheng had a more connected network than Bhongir in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
