Yuxian in context
The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Yuxian plotted against Hebei and China. In new street additions, Yuxian fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Lingshui Li Autonomous County built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Ormoc built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Looking at the full network, Lingshui Li Autonomous County and Ormoc both became progressively more disconnected, while Yuxian fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Yuxian had a more sprawly network than Ormoc in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
