The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Qinglong plotted against Hebei and China. The SNDi of new construction in Qinglong rose steadily, compared to Hebei which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Qinglong's incremental SNDi rose from 3.35 to 3.89 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Qinglong ranked 62nd out of 120 cities in Hebei and 974th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Qinglong built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Angoulême built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Tarail fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Qinglong and Angoulême both became progressively more disconnected, while Tarail became progressively more disconnected. Notably, Qinglong had a more connected network than Angoulême in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
