The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Yudong plotted against Guangxi and China. The SNDi of new construction in Yudong followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Guangxi which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Yudong's incremental SNDi fell from 3.3 to 2.77 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Yudong ranked 28th out of 63 cities in Guangxi and 1039th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Yudong fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Kasba built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Tarnów built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Yudong fluctuated in connectivity, while Kasba grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Tarnów became progressively more disconnected. Yudong and Tarnów have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
