The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Wuzhou plotted against Guangxi and China. The SNDi of new construction in Wuzhou rose steadily, compared to Guangxi which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Wuzhou's incremental SNDi rose from 3.62 to 3.99 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Wuzhou ranked 33rd out of 63 cities in Guangxi and 1160th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

While Ranghulu and Chandrapur both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Wuzhou built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. For the full network, Wuzhou and Chandrapur both became progressively more disconnected, while Ranghulu fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Wuzhou had a more connected network than Ranghulu in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
