In new street additions, Quanzhou fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Umunede built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Jianshi built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Quanzhou grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Umunede became progressively more disconnected and Jianshi grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Quanzhou and Umunede have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
