The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Zhongxin plotted against Guangdong and China. The SNDi of new construction in Zhongxin peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Guangdong which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Zhongxin's incremental SNDi fell from 1.3 to 1.1 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Zhongxin ranked 1st out of 133 cities in Guangdong and 9th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

While Saint Michel de l’Attalaye and Durlovpur both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Zhongxin built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved in new street additions. For the full network, Zhongxin and Saint Michel de l’Attalaye both became progressively more disconnected, while Durlovpur fluctuated in connectivity.
