The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Longmen plotted against Guangdong and China. The SNDi of new construction in Longmen rose steadily, compared to Guangdong which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Longmen's incremental SNDi rose from 3.09 to 3.88 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020.

For the full network, Longmen and Khagrachhari both became progressively more disconnected, while Al-Buraimi grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Longmen and Al-Buraimi have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
