The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Lintao plotted against Gansu and China. The SNDi of new construction in Lintao rose steadily, compared to Gansu which peaked in 1976-1990 and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Lintao's incremental SNDi rose from 3.55 to 3.97 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Lintao ranked 12th out of 29 cities in Gansu and 1409th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Lintao and Ranebennur both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Wetmore built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Lintao and Ranebennur both became progressively more disconnected, while Wetmore grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Lintao and Wetmore have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
