What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Qijiang fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Kousseri built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Hojai built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Qijiang fluctuated in connectivity, while Kousseri grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Hojai became progressively more disconnected. Notably, Qijiang had a more connected network than Hojai in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
