The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Yingshang plotted against Anhui and China. The SNDi of new construction in Yingshang peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Anhui which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Yingshang's incremental SNDi fell from 2.61 to 2.41 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Yingshang ranked 30th out of 74 cities in Anhui and 545th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

While Shiling and Bilqas both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Yingshang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved in new street additions. For the full network, Yingshang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Shiling fluctuated in connectivity and Bilqas became progressively more disconnected. Yingshang and Shiling have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
