The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Guangde plotted against Anhui and China. The SNDi of new construction in Guangde followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Anhui which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and China which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Guangde's incremental SNDi fell from 2.38 to 1.83 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Guangde ranked 19th out of 74 cities in Anhui and 245th out of 1843 in China as of 2020.

In new street additions, Guangde fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Escuintla built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Botshabelo-N built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Guangde fluctuated in connectivity, while Escuintla became progressively more disconnected and Botshabelo-N grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Guangde and Escuintla have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
