The SNDi of new construction in Linares rose steadily, compared to Maule which rose steadily and Chile which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Linares and Tupã both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Ndenderu fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend. Linares and Ndenderu have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
