The SNDi of new construction in Rancagua was at its lowest in 1976-1990, compared to Libertador General Bernardo O'Hi which rose steadily and Chile which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Rancagua built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, while Southend-on-Sea built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Vehari built increasingly disconnected streets over time. Looking at the full network, Southend-on-Sea and Vehari both became progressively more disconnected, while Rancagua became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Rancagua and Southend-on-Sea have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
