The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Kyabé plotted against Moyen-Chari and Chad. The SNDi of new construction in Kyabé followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Moyen-Chari which rose steadily and Chad which rose steadily. In new street additions, Kyabé and Youssoufia both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Surgut built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Kyabé fluctuated in connectivity, while Youssoufia became progressively more connected and Surgut became progressively more disconnected. Notably, Kyabé had a more sprawly network than Surgut in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
