The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Nkongsamba plotted against Littoral and Cameroon. The SNDi of new construction in Nkongsamba followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Littoral which rose steadily and Cameroon which rose steadily. In new street additions, Nkongsamba fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Huayuan built increasingly connected streets over time and 小名浜愛宕上 built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Nkongsamba and 小名浜愛宕上 both became progressively more disconnected, while Huayuan became progressively more connected. Nkongsamba and Huayuan have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
