The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Mokolo plotted against Extrême-Nord and Cameroon. While Extrême-Nord and Cameroon both rose steadily, Mokolo's new street additions rose steadily. Most recently, Mokolo's incremental SNDi rose from 1.37 to 2.24 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Mokolo ranked 3rd out of 8 cities in Extrême-Nord and 4th out of 44 in Cameroon as of 2020.

In new street additions, Mokolo built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Muvattupuzha built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Jinchengjiang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Mokolo and Jinchengjiang both became progressively more disconnected, while Muvattupuzha became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards.
