The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Poipet plotted against Bântéay Méanchey and Cambodia. The SNDi of new construction in Poipet followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Bântéay Méanchey which was at its lowest in 1991-2005 and Cambodia which rose steadily. Most recently, Poipet's incremental SNDi rose from 2.64 to 2.79 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Poipet ranked 1st out of 1 cities in Bântéay Méanchey and 1st out of 12 in Cambodia as of 2020.

While Mataró and Ambasamudram both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, Poipet fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Mataró and Ambasamudram both became progressively more disconnected, while Poipet fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Poipet had a more sprawly network than Ambasamudram in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
