What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Rumonge built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, while Nanjiang County built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Kâhta fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. Looking at the full network, Nanjiang County and Kâhta both became progressively more disconnected, while Rumonge became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Rumonge and Nanjiang County have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
