The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Sapouy plotted against Centre-Ouest and Burkina Faso. The SNDi of new construction in Sapouy followed a zig-zag trend, compared to Centre-Ouest which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Burkina Faso which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Sapouy's incremental SNDi rose from 2.57 to 3.65 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Sapouy ranked 3rd out of 3 cities in Centre-Ouest and 18th out of 19 in Burkina Faso as of 2020.

In new street additions, Sapouy fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Ekangala built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Klaeng built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Sapouy fluctuated in connectivity, while Ekangala became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Klaeng became progressively more disconnected. Sapouy and Ekangala have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
