The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Sertãozinho plotted against São Paulo and Brazil. While São Paulo and Brazil both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Sertãozinho's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Sertãozinho's incremental SNDi rose from 1.39 to 1.68 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Sertãozinho ranked 3rd out of 76 cities in São Paulo and 10th out of 365 in Brazil as of 2020.

In new street additions, Sertãozinho fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Xinye built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Kayan fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Sertãozinho became progressively more disconnected, while Xinye became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards and Kayan fluctuated in connectivity. Sertãozinho and Xinye have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
