The SNDi of new construction in Rio Claro rose steadily, compared to São Paulo which rose steadily and Brazil which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Rio Claro's incremental SNDi rose from 2.52 to 4.2 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Rio Claro built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Sendhwa fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Shuanglong built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. Looking at the full network, Sendhwa and Shuanglong both became progressively more connected, while Rio Claro became progressively more disconnected. Rio Claro and Sendhwa have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
