The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Lençóis Paulista plotted against São Paulo and Brazil. The SNDi of new construction in Lençóis Paulista peaked in 1976-1990, compared to São Paulo which rose steadily and Brazil which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Lençóis Paulista's incremental SNDi fell from 1.66 to 1.46 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Lençóis Paulista ranked 9th out of 76 cities in São Paulo and 31st out of 365 in Brazil as of 2020.

In new street additions, Lençóis Paulista and Janaúba both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Guanambi built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Lençóis Paulista grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Guanambi became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards and Janaúba became progressively more disconnected. Lençóis Paulista and Guanambi have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
