The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bragança Paulista plotted against São Paulo and Brazil. The SNDi of new construction in Bragança Paulista rose steadily, compared to São Paulo which rose steadily and Brazil which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Bragança Paulista's incremental SNDi rose from 3.46 to 4.72 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Bragança Paulista and Mogi Guaçu both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Yueyang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Bragança Paulista and Mogi Guaçu both became progressively more disconnected, while Yueyang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Notably, Bragança Paulista had a more connected network than Yueyang in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
