The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Barretos plotted against São Paulo and Brazil. While São Paulo and Brazil both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Barretos's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Barretos's incremental SNDi rose from 1.31 to 2.41 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Barretos ranked 2nd out of 76 cities in São Paulo and 9th out of 365 in Brazil as of 2020.
