While São Paulo and Brazil both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Araçatuba's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Araçatuba fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Dzerzhinsk built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Omuo-Obadore built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend. Araçatuba and Dzerzhinsk have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
