The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Cacoal plotted against Rondônia and Brazil. The SNDi of new construction in Cacoal peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Rondônia which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Brazil which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Cacoal's incremental SNDi fell from 2.68 to 2.15 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Cacoal ranked 2nd out of 5 cities in Rondônia and 95th out of 365 in Brazil as of 2020.
