The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Paranavaí plotted against Paraná and Brazil. The SNDi of new construction in Paranavaí rose steadily, compared to Paraná which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Brazil which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Paranavaí's incremental SNDi rose from 1.28 to 2.8 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Paranavaí built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Jieshi built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Nahrin fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Paranavaí became progressively more disconnected, while Jieshi grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Nahrin grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved.
