The SNDi of new construction in Francisco Beltrão rose steadily, compared to Paraná which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Brazil which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Francisco Beltrão's incremental SNDi rose from 3.43 to 4.19 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Francisco Beltrão built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Yuanqiao fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Swords built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Francisco Beltrão became progressively more disconnected, while Yuanqiao became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Swords grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Notably, Francisco Beltrão had a more connected network than Yuanqiao in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
