The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Paragominas plotted against Pará and Brazil. While Pará and Brazil both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Paragominas's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Paragominas's incremental SNDi rose from 1.62 to 1.86 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Paragominas ranked 4th out of 16 cities in Pará and 65th out of 365 in Brazil as of 2020.

While Sagara and White Plains both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, Paragominas fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Sagara and White Plains both became progressively more disconnected, while Paragominas fluctuated in connectivity. Paragominas and Sagara have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
