The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Uberlândia plotted against Minas Gerais and Brazil. The SNDi of new construction in Uberlândia rose steadily, compared to Minas Gerais which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Brazil which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Uberlândia's incremental SNDi rose from 2.09 to 3.46 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Uberlândia ranked 14th out of 49 cities in Minas Gerais and 103rd out of 365 in Brazil as of 2020.

In new street additions, Uberlândia built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Deyang fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Runisaidpur built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Uberlândia became progressively more disconnected, while Deyang fluctuated in connectivity and Runisaidpur became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Uberlândia and Deyang have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
