The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Três Corações plotted against Minas Gerais and Brazil. The SNDi of new construction in Três Corações peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Minas Gerais which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Brazil which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Três Corações's incremental SNDi fell from 2.98 to 2.86 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Três Corações ranked 27th out of 49 cities in Minas Gerais and 210th out of 365 in Brazil as of 2020.

In new street additions, Três Corações built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Esfarayen built increasingly connected streets over time and Dai built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Três Corações and Dai both became progressively more disconnected, while Esfarayen became progressively more connected. Três Corações and Esfarayen have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
