All three follow the same trend in new construction, suggesting a shared regional pattern of development. Most recently, Lavras's incremental SNDi rose from 2.77 to 3.7 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Lavras ranked 29th out of 49 cities in Minas Gerais and 224th out of 365 in Brazil as of 2020.

What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Lavras and Fatehabad both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Kakrala fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Lavras became progressively more disconnected, while Kakrala fluctuated in connectivity and Fatehabad fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Lavras had a more sprawly network than Fatehabad in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
