The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Ituiutaba plotted against Minas Gerais and Brazil. The SNDi of new construction in Ituiutaba rose steadily, compared to Minas Gerais which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Brazil which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Ituiutaba's incremental SNDi rose from 1.37 to 1.78 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Ituiutaba and Luiza both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Senapati fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Ituiutaba and Luiza both became progressively more disconnected, while Senapati became progressively more disconnected. Ituiutaba and Luiza have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
