The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Aracruz plotted against Espírito Santo and Brazil. The SNDi of new construction in Aracruz rose steadily, compared to Espírito Santo which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Brazil which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Aracruz's incremental SNDi rose from 2.09 to 2.87 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Aracruz ranked 2nd out of 11 cities in Espírito Santo and 96th out of 365 in Brazil as of 2020.

In new street additions, Aracruz built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Tepeji de Ocampo fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Cheria Bariarpur built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Aracruz and Tepeji de Ocampo both became progressively more disconnected, while Cheria Bariarpur grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved.
