All three follow the same trend in new construction, suggesting a shared regional pattern of development. Most recently, Pacajus's incremental SNDi rose from 2.43 to 2.67 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Pacajus ranked 9th out of 10 cities in Ceará and 202nd out of 365 in Brazil as of 2020.

What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Pacajus fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Bumihayu built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Pakariya fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Pacajus and Bumihayu both became progressively more disconnected, while Pakariya became progressively more connected. Pacajus and Pakariya have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
