In new street additions, Crato fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Xiyang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Piacenza built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Looking at the full network, Xiyang and Piacenza both grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Crato became progressively more disconnected. Notably, Crato had a more connected network than Piacenza in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
