The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Aplahoué plotted against Kouffo and Benin. The SNDi of new construction in Aplahoué rose steadily, compared to Kouffo which peaked in 1976-1990 and Benin which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Aplahoué's incremental SNDi rose from 2.3 to 2.34 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Aplahoué ranked 1st out of 1 cities in Kouffo and 10th out of 24 in Benin as of 2020.

In new street additions, Aplahoué and Poonch both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Arlit fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Aplahoué and Poonch both became progressively more disconnected, while Arlit fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Aplahoué had a more connected network than Arlit in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
