The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Achotnica plotted against Vitebsk and Belarus. The SNDi of new construction in Achotnica followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Vitebsk which peaked in 1991-2005 and Belarus which peaked in 1991-2005. Most recently, Achotnica's incremental SNDi fell from 2.48 to 1.97 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Achotnica ranked 1st out of 3 cities in Vitebsk and 7th out of 14 in Belarus as of 2020.

In new street additions, Achotnica fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Kyaukpyu built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Kundapura built increasingly disconnected streets over time. Looking at the full network, Kyaukpyu and Kundapura both became progressively more disconnected, while Achotnica fluctuated in connectivity. Achotnica and Kyaukpyu have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
