The SNDi of new construction in Lakhai followed a zig-zag trend, compared to Sylhet which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In terms of the aggregate network, Lakhai ranked 14th out of 24 cities in Sylhet and 151st out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

Looking at the full network, Egbe and Nevinnomyssk both became progressively more disconnected, while Lakhai fluctuated in connectivity. Lakhai and Egbe have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
