The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Kulaura plotted against Sylhet and Bangladesh. The SNDi of new construction in Kulaura peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Sylhet which rose steadily and Bangladesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Kulaura's incremental SNDi fell from 9.88 to 1.17 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Kulaura ranked 18th out of 24 cities in Sylhet and 175th out of 234 in Bangladesh as of 2020.

While Taungoo and Havelian Cantonment both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, Kulaura built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Taungoo and Havelian Cantonment both became progressively more disconnected, while Kulaura grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved.
